Most things come with practice, I can't even remember back when I started (almost 2 years ago!) but I'll attempt to answer for ya.

improvise. I won't tell you exactly what I do, because I have a technique kind of thing because I was forgetting material all the time.

[quote:post_uid0]how to act whhile on stage?[/quote:post_uid0]
depends, do you want to get up as yourself or portray some sort of character? Everyone has their own style, you kind of have to work out what suits you best. Don't do anything you're not comfortable doing. My gig last week I was saying things I wasn't so sure about, but it turned out being the least nervous I've ever been on stage. Sure I was nervous at times before I got up there, but once I was up I was fine. Even if I didn't get the response I was hoping for in some places.

[quote:post_uid0]How you can test your materail out?[/quote:post_uid0]
test it out on someone you trust will give you honest feedback. Usually close friends & family will try and support you and say it's good when it's really not. You could always ask one of the resident mosh comics to help with advice for your material once it's written. I've had help from Pautiric with my material - she doesn't write for me, but she lets me know if she thinks something is funny or not, and suggests ways of changing it. I'd be happy to offer advice on material if I'm not too busy, though I suspect someone might try to flame me for it ;) but given that I'm guessing you'd be competing against FR, don't go to her for advice cos she might just say your material is good if it's crap or vice versa just cos she'll wanna beat ya ;)

I hope that's okay hehe. Oh yeah, and I registered for next year's Raw already too *bg*
