I wonder if kids read the books on the same level adults do? I asked my sister (she's 15) and she reckons that when she first read philosopher's stone when it came out a couple of years ago, she enjoyed it, but had no idea how complex the story actually was.. and didn't get the constant connections bewteen things etc.
i guess there is something for everyone
