I dunno about that, I think people would still watch it - i mean sure, have *some* big names, but bring out the newbies..
i can't believe we haven't seen Anthony Menchetti on a gala yet... and they so need Justin Hamilton, MBG, etc. like you guys said - these guys are probably as good or better than a lot of the 'big names' and all it would take to get bigger numbers to their shows would be some tv stardom.
damn it.. that's just sad..
the prob with the gala is that most comics do their 'tv-friendly' material, and for a lot of them, they fall back on that safe stuff that they know is gonna get a laugh... even if they've done it before. *sigh* damn it. i want shiney new comics on telly. let us protest! |
