Well, it wasn't as good as it has been, but I thought the gala was alright overall. Cept for all the weird athletic stuff that took place at the start. Lots of tokenism. Loved Daniel anyway, he had me laughing. Loved Lano & Woodley, but it's hard not to. Hated the schneedles, wanted to whack that ukelele over his head. Wil looked like a lost cause and I'd seen the stuff before so twasn't funny 2nd time. Um... loved Danny Bhoy, but I'm a sucker for accents. Loved Lee Mack, but he's my current 'crush' for want of a less-american word.
I liked Maria Bamford. I don't know, her humour just tickles me. Denise Scott sent me on a bathroom break. Bleah. Fiona... fell bit flat. Erm... agree with unfrufru on Howard Read, but the concept is pretty cool. And his shirt amused me. Hmm hmmm Gud didn't inspire.
