anyone else get an 'all-singing, all dancing' vibe to gala this year? wee bit too much filler for my liking. Thought Magda did pretty well as host, altho i think host is a bit too strong a term. Loved Howard, stoked get to go and see him!
Come on Gud obssessees, what was the damned bleeped bit?!?! i know it was some sort of legalities thing, but i cant for the life of me remember the line!
SSSSSSSAAAAAARRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! Love her gear, heehee sky-sharks.
Shcneedles gave me the shits, much agreement with whoever said that talking mimes are worse
Lano and Woodley cracked me up, even their CAA ad thingy 'people...'
really liked Daniel Kitson, loves how he explains everything, cracks me up and im not sure why, like the bit with the railway tracks 'you might think that was improvised, but it wasnt'
and liked Danny Bhoy, was kinda cool, cos he had worked half his wine tour bit at Adelaide but finished it off in time for the gala. what a clever lad.
Was really unimpressed with Wil, particularly as his new show IS a new show with new material. I suppose thats why he doesnt want to 'waste' it on a national audience all at once.
Liked Adam Hills, but as i saw his show at fringe, not shocking. Missed the dancing boys
i thought maria bamford was good, she made me laugh out loud, cant remember which bit, but i like her delivery.
not the best Gala i've ever seen, but quite good overall. Made me excited again for comfest!

“A fella, on the telly the other week, was saying, ‘you’ve only got so many ‘eartbeats in a lifetime’. So we shouldn’t waste em should we. We shouldn’t be all running around, lifting weights and that.” Karl Pilkington on Health
