TAKING COMEDY TO THE URBAN FRINGE

Missed out on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, but in need of a laugh?
The Comedy Festival Roadshow is heading to Knox tonight with a line-up of talent from across the world.
The roadshow will also head to Karralyka Theatre in Maroondah Thursday week at 8pm.
The Comedy Festival Roadshow has been touted as a stand-up, in-your-face, knock-you-down good time.
Amoung the touring comedians are Anthony Menchetti, Nelly Thomas, Fiona O'Loughlin, Akmal Saleh, Cal Wilson and Damian Callinan.
From Canada comes Jason John Whitehead and David O'Doherty is over from Ireland, while other comedians include Tommy Dean, Charlie Pickering, Dave Williams and Tom Gleeson.
Audiences are warned the shows may contain adult themes and course language.
They will perform at the Knox Community Arts Centre, corner Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road at 8pm.
Tickets are $25 adults, $23 concession.
