I've always enjoyed having the awards announced pretty informally in a public place - kind of gave the punters ownership of the awards, ownership of our festival.
Saturday nights durning the festival used to be my favourite nights of the year - see a show - go to festival club - dance all night to the superband - laugh with and at comedians pretending to be rockstars - great fun. Sorry that's all over - and thank goodness for the guys up at Trades Hall - they've put on the best night's of the fest. Thanks guys. |
