The main reason I want it to stay open is I am too lazy to search for DAAS related material in other forums. If I want to read DAAS threads, it is there and easy to read. |
The thing is, the new tags system will make that even easier. You click on the "DAAS" tag, and you'll get a page of Dougs stuff and no other GNW-related stuff to go through.

Yeah, but does he need an entire forum? He hasn't done anything public since the debate last year. And Tim and Rich haven't been doing a great deal lately either. A thread dedicated to news about them, fair enough, but a forum just about them is going to be a very quiet place. Which is probably why we currently have a GNW and DAAS forum, rather than a DAAS forum.
As for hanging onto the history, perhaps a thread/page explaining the name and where it comes from, and a bit of the history of Paul and the board would be more useful than having a dead quiet forum about all the things he's not doing publically lately? Also, a forum about him could possibly give people the misleading impression that it was a place for discussion about his private life as well as his public performances, which is against the board rules.
