okies, i have seen 2 shows at the comedy festival this year, neither of which have been mentioned in this thread so i'll give them a review!

1. The Sound of Music Drag Show
This was pretty damn funny, haha, in a nice insane way. It probably helped that i love love love the movie, to the point that i've even done the "sound of music tour" in salzburg, but even my friend who HATES it thought the show was funny.
it was full of costumes, lingerie and fastastic fake boobs, and sex gags galore.. no double entendres here, all single!
It's not exactly high-brow comedy but it was bloody enjoyable - though let's be honest, if you're not a fan of musical comedy you're already behind the 8 ball here!

2. Adam Rozenbachs in "Wrong Way, Keep Going"
I found this to be a really enjoyable show. I was familiar with his appearences on Spicks and Specks but not much else, and apparently this is his first solo show at the comedy festival. He's in a teeny tiny room at the Portland Hotel, but it's a good intimate show and he interacts with the audience a fair bit, and was pretty natural at dealing with the audience members.
The show didn't follow a specific theme, more a bunch of gags strung together on vague tangents, but i really enjoyed the varying nature of it all. I didn't feel that any jokes fell particularlly flat, but some were definately more biting than otehrs - there was a friggin hilarious bit on the bali 9 - and the audience was laughing consistently throughout, which was a good sign considering it was sucha small room!
On a side note, I was sitting in front of Lemho and Paul Callejia, and they were in hysterics, so that's a pretty good endorsement right there.

I'm planning on heading to a few more before teh festival ends so thanks for the reviews already posted! i REALLLY want to see fiona o'loughlin - i just need someone to go with!
