And why are they recycling topics? Didn't they do this as the Melbourne International comedy festival great debate with Libby Gore as moderator. Paul McDermott, Judith Lucy and Anthony Morgan on the affirmative with Greg Proops, Rona Cameron and Rich Hall on the negative?
Would hate to think Paul's speech was recycled too....but doubt it.

Re the Gala ending: Bit harder to cut Tim Minchins end song to somewhere else when it works with Pete's bits so well. You know would look odd if he was standing next to a Piano if they did Tripod last in the televised thing because Tripod don't have a piano and would just have looked weird if it was done that way. Though I have to say I liked both songs.
