I quite enjoyed Daniel Kitson's "secret" late night show at Trades Hall on Sunday night. It's called The Honourable Men of Art (Without Alun Cochrane). It's Daniel, David O'Doherty and Andy Zaltzman (Sp?) faffing about for 2 hours. The high point: after Daniel mused aloud about where he find a trumpet for Andy, a member of the audience went out to the bar to get a drink and brought back the trumpet player from the jazz band playing out there. The look of absolute delight on his face made my night. And I have to say, I never knew that online Boggle could be quite so competitive (or addictive!). |
