If you're in MS word, you can type a word and then press shift + F7 and it will bring up a theasaurus thing. And I think I spelt that wrong, but oh well.

I think the real question is what does Shift F7 have to do with the comedy inc :lookarou:

Ok.. that's very nice... but why is that relevant to Comedy Inc being evil?..

It's not related to the Gala or Comedy Inc. but to the pretentious language used in the complaint letter.

Shift-F7 is (to me) in response to Claire's post. She uses many big words, and using the thesaurus function you can find out what these big words mean and those of us who don't know what these big words mean can find out so we understand

That's what I think anyway :p

Awww c'mon! Let us vent!!!

The whole reason we come to Mosh is to talk about.... um... comedy! We all like Comedy and probably watch a lot of it, otherwise we wouldn't be here. And the comedians/comedy shows we like, seems pretty consistant throughout the group. Therefore.... you could understand that when a program like Comedy Inc climbs out of the murkey depths of the channel 9 swamp, we immediately reel back in horror. Its hard for most Moshers to comprehend that some people actually find this middle-class humour funny. It is just doesn't live up to the comedic standard of which we are used to.

If you haven't watched an episode of Comedy Inc, then surely you would want us to fill you in on what an incredible pile of steaming poo it really is before you make the mistake of watching it. On the other hand, I watch Comedy Inc every week for the precise reason that I can talk to others about how crap it is

I'll admit that a lot of the send ups on Comedy Inc are quite good actually - Paul Whatshisface is quite clever (I did think he sounded just like Rob Sitch in the Panel skit). Its the actual scripts and "over-acting" that let the whole show down - the skits have no substance and use very poor sexual inneundos and scenes of death in an attempt to get laughs.

Sure, Wil slags off Comedy Inc and vice-versa, but thats why its so fun! I love rivalry, especially when it is evident who is good and who is evil.

Comedy Inc. Its Not Comedy.

[/b]

Sometimes I think I'd be better off dead. No wait, not me, you.

Hmmm I haven't watched Inc either, between the ads and you lot there was absolutely no way. Mind you I haven't watched the Glasshouse or skithouse or any others. I'm living in comedy past and I'm very happy thanks very much. I agree the slagging is fine. but if said slagging is like submitting to slow torture then we must rise and whinge like shit. Wil's slagging on the other hand is rather funny. Did you hear the bit on JJJ when Wil explained about the text he got from someone as he was about to meet someone in the bar - don't meet me in bar, or something like that. Followed by a further text explaining that someonewas actually at a table full of comedy inc people. God that was funny. Wil actually making it the table would have been funnier though.

Comy Inc- Nothings Sacred

Nothings funny either

Drunk Midget to even Drunker Chick - Have you ever had anyone go up on you before?

Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.
