This one appeared in the Sydney Daily Telegraph. Has anyone found any others? I was disgusted to see that Rove McManus is being considered and publicly supported to become Australia's next Governor-General. (Daily Telegraph, May 28). This is turning the vice-regal position into a joke. Rove McManus already has a job; surely we can give this esteemed position to someone who doesn't have a job at the moment. I implore Daily Telegraph readers- nay Australians- to think of Daryl Somers, Glenn Ridge or even Peter Luck when they so foolishly make light of the once-respected position of governor-general. Scott Dooley, Waverley.

Liam James, North Bondi, May 28." Thats one Wil sent in, he was bragging about it this morning on JJJ, and it's on the smh website here ![]() ![]()

Reputation: ![]() ![]() Reputation Power: 5 | Found some more this morning, but apparently there are three or four more around in the Daily Telegraph and a few others? From The Age: "Thank God the ABC has finally decided to axe that waste of space, Fly TV. That valuable three hours can now be filled with the sort of cutting-edge programming the ABC does just not have enough of: can I suggest more episodes of The Bill, some English cooking shows - and an extra hour of The Fat wouldn't go astray. Liam James, North Bondi, NSW " And from The Australian: "IN these times of blatant ABC bias and anti-Americanism, at least those decent young chaps at Triple J radio are doing the "right" thing to explain our Government's attitude to Uncle Sam. Just yesterday Carmen Spade was heard to say: "Coming up next, some Machine Gun Fellatio." Our foreign policy in a nutshell, I'd say. Adam Spencer Newtown, NSW " Apparently Adam's letters are under a different name, but I can't remember what he said it was... ![]()

| MOSHer | Methinks Mel and Charlie lost. Um, no, Adam's pen name for today was Carmen Spade, an anagram of his name, but the newspaper stuffed it up. There's two in the Daily Tele.. one about abbreviations and another one by Adam that I forget. And Wil almost got one into the SMH but they picked him up on it. | ||

...but we are not stupid pooeys, so let's rejoice... "I'm upstaging you baby... and they're loving it!" (Lano, to Woodley).
