meaning...[/quote:post_uid0]

Ummm they weren't too clear on that. Ask Caitlin for further clarification...

And sooty - to be really pedantic (which I am ), lava and magma are two different things.

ok to clear the magma thing up...

in "christmas at the centre of the earth" it originally went something like this (note i cant see manda's sig at the moment so i might get it a bit wrong)

G: can i just take a moment to say BASALT..i have no idea what i means but i really like the word...BASALT
Y: you cant use this song just to say words you like! [then proceeds to song about magma flowing from a magma filled magma or something like that with the word magma said about 10 times]

HOWEVER they cut the magma bit cause scod said we didn't laugh at it enough when they performed it at manda's uni...

clear?

 In my opinion, the magma bit was one of the funniest bits of the song... and yeah, as Caitlin has said before (but not on this board), it puts the whole "basalt" part into perspective... the "basalt" bit by itself is just way too random (not that we haven't come to expect random stuff from Tripod by now... GO RANDOMNESS!).

aww.. I miss Magma.. bastards..
Manda: "what happened to the Magma bit?"
Scod: "Ahh, it was axed! You didn't laugh loud enough"
me:" If we had laughed any louder we would have looked like humungous tools.."
Scod: "Ahh well.. your laughter is the judge! It's too bad!!"

awww *sobs for the loss of magma and salutes it for a moment of silence.*
I dunno if it was just me - but I thought the 2nd night was way better, just maybe the mood I was in.. but I had a ball, also added to it getting to chat to simm and benza afterwards.. and gatesy later when I was wandering the streets waiting for my train...
anyway.. outties.. fabu shows I thought - although I know what you mean manda - would've been nice to have more new songs.. and Bevan cameo, that rocked last year....*sighs* ahhh memories..

They started very punctually at 8pm on both nights, and ended very punctually at 9:30pm on both nights too, because there were acts on at the Spiegeltent after them and they had to clear out in a hurry.
