Howdy - I'm not sure if it's JUST queensland who get Sunrise in the morning but on Wednesday morning at 7:10am there will be a segment with Paul McDermott and James O'locklin (spelling i know i'm sorry).

So yeah - should be funny i think, they will be debating/discussing the days headlines, it's a new segment they are trying so i'm not sure if they will be on next wednesday but i got a happy surprise this morning whilst packing my lunch!

James to Chris: "If i was your friend i'd help you....but i'm not"

James: "And it was the best day of my live..."

I'd say at least the whole of the east coast would get it at least. Maybe. Although I don't think I'd be willing to be out of bed by 7:10 just to watch Paul and James. :p

I another forum that I go to made the very valid point that they make Becky and Woody from CNNNN look like serious hosts.

but wow, gee, whizz, something I might be able to catch before I go to work, if I get out of the shower in time

I can't believe anyone could dislike Sunrise! (No offense. I mean it in a lighthearted way. Of course you can dislike it if you like). Mel, Nat and Kochie make a great team! I can understand the first time can be a bit weird, but if you give it a chance I bet you'll enjoy it. Of course it isn't hard hitting news, but it's a lot more informative than Today, as well as being more entertaining! It's not trendy, but it's funny!

That's just my two cents.

But I am a bit apprehensive about Paul and James doing this segment. Oh well, I'll just be optimistic until I've seen it. I do like these two pairing up, though. I think they're good together. Remember when Paul was on Inside the Arena when James was hosting? That was good.

Sorry, I'm rambling. The End.

"No, it's Paul. We're a trio".

I agree.....kochy is just so funny at times...I've been watching it for months and months (its on when I am getting ready for work) and it is what you want in the morning, something light hearted but informative.

Paul was reasonable quiet this morning. James and Kochy did more of the talking than anyone, but give him a few weeks to get into it, and he will liven up a bit

ergh no it's not my sense of humour! i'm not expecting hard hitting news and a lot of why i hate them probably has to do with my general dislike of these morning 'news' programs but they're just sooo irritating! i just don't find their banter funny at all..

ut c'mon you have to love steve lieberman. pen tapping, lemon shirt wearing babelicious dude that he is!

I hate how now on the morning show's there is a clear undercurrent of vicious rivalry between them. I think Today have resorted to adding in some little self indulgent tidbit like "The number one breakfast tv show" (or something...to early for me to watch or pay attention).

"Team leader doesn't mean anything mate."
"Excuse me, it means I'm leader of a team."
"No it doesn't - it's a title someone's given you to get you to do something they don't want to do for free. Right? It's like making a div kid at school milk monitor. Noone respects it."
"I think they do."
"No they don't Gareth."
"Er, yes they do, because if people were rude to me then I used to give them their milk last so it was warm."

Yay! Finally I've got a reason to watch the show again. Hooray for some intelligent conversation. Sometimes the things the hosts say are soo practical and in the stream of common sense that I wonder if it's worth watching when what they say, I'm already aware of.

Nearly choked this morning when James mentioned Descartes and David Koch asked 'Who's Descartes?'

May there always be Spring in the eye of your mind.

ta muchly for informing me this morning spoof. although i was in the middle of a deep sleep i still watched it.

made up for the fact that i was going through my good news week videos last night to see what was on one. what i didn't know was that years ago (its been a while since i watched it) one of the cats must have pissed on it, so when i put it in the vcr, all the tape spewed out and ripped in several places WWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHH i spent most of last night performing micro surgery, but alas i had to call it at 11.39pm. damn i hate when we lose one.

Drunk Midget to even Drunker Chick - Have you ever had anyone go up on you before?

Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

Alan Jones be damned.

Caught his "two cents" on Sunrise one morning (just after watching the Sound of Music, of course) - he's got no idea what he's on about.

That's why I sleep when it's on.
