TRIPOD in LADY ROBOTS – THE MELBOURNE PREVIEWS Tripod are heading to Sydney this December for a three week season at the Opera House with a new and improved version of their 2002 Melbourne Comedy Festival hit – Lady Robots. During early November Scod, Yon and Gatesy will be deep in rehearsal knocking the new show into shape – adding bits in, taking bits out, adding more bits in, you know how these things work! Now - no Tripod show would be quite right without first being shared with the good people of Melbourne – so there will be 3 very special Preview performances in their home town in the last week of November. Make sure you book very early to secure your seats! Tripod describe Lady Robots as: “Set against a sweeping backdrop of intergalactic conflict, three ‘men’ embark on an epic journey to a war-ravaged planet behind the sun - in a Volkswagon. And there, deep under the scorched surface of the planet, they discover a secret which may change their lives forever. It’s to do with robots and that. And also there’s songs. Me and my sister live up here in Brissy so were thinking about going down to Sydney so that we can see Tripod. The only trouble is that we have to find the money. Damn money! It would be so much simpler if everything was free.  | ||
