Hey, don't apologise. I might have another one in about a month since that one was so successful. Apologise after you miss that one!

You missed half of MBG's standup!!! Adrian Calear was *brilliant* (his rant against Nelson Mandela had me on the floor) as was Justin Kennedy. In fact, Justin's gag about Nelly Melba's lesser known sister was one of the top lines of the night. He might be keeping that gag so I won't spoil the punchline. And the poor Dalek had to make do without a stage or a mic stand, the two props he gets his first few minutes of material out of. And he broke his talky lights. Poor old Dalek!!

But my FAVOURITE moment of the night was after everything was over and we were packing up. I'd brought Dexter to the gig by lashing him onto a golf cart and hauling all that on and off trams, but my brother offered to drive that home along with various Dalek parts. But we realised that Dexter was too tall to fit into his car, so with typical Pollard problem-solving skills we got a knife and simply cut his head off. It was a family bonding moment.

That made me laugh. I rocked up as Dexter was being carried out in two pieces, I reckon that's fantastic: you actually have roadies for the robots.

Another robot pic ...

Hey, I just got handed some photos of me from the Birdman Rally earlier this year. Here's a pretty shot of me an old Jetfire after some nice people had just fished us out of the stinky old Yarra.

Things are steaming ahead swimmingly ... there should be a "preview" of the show (ie - some bits that we have prepared plus a heap of padding) at a scifi convention called Continuum in Melb on Friday June 11, but I think a day pass is something like $25 and our slot is 11pm so I'm not expecting any regular comedy goers to be in attendance.

Every time I see that quote I regret not asking which opening I *could* rub it in.

How about the wound which is a result from being told to "go away" the other night?
