[Edit by Mythor: Removed duplicate post, moved post to News/Dates forum, added to calendar.] That's right ladies and gentlemen, PURGE NIGHT is coming back for 2004! Just in time for the start of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival it's the comedy night where the comedians get to cut loose. For the uninitiated out there Purge Night is where the comics get to roll out the material that is too sensitve, sexist, racist and just down right offensive that they can't use at a normal comedy night. Every Purge we have 25 to 30 of Australias premier comedians grace the stage and do their best to offend. This is a night not to be missed. My personal highlight over the past years was watching an audience member faint dead away as Scott Pollard stabbed a hypodermic needle into his own eye. Purge Night has a long and glorious tradition to uphold and any comedians who want to join in can contact me at purgenight@hotmail.com PURGE NIGHT @ Nylon Saturday 20th March 36 Lt LaTrobe Street, CBD ( Between Swanston & Elizabeth Streets ) Show starts 8.30pm $10/$8 YOU WILL BE OFFENDED!

| MOSH Veteran | I assume that it will be the same as any other comedy night at Nylon. Which means that you can get the tickets at the door. From what i'm hearing this night is gonna be huge, so you better get in early to make sure that you don't miss out. | ||

I'm mightily tempted to book a spot at the Comics Lounge and do that Purge material.

| Member | Yes, congrats to GM and Madeleine West. Both truly deserved to take out the award. In fact, at the same time the judges where deciding the winner, our group of 20 odd were also discussing who the best was and it was a split decision between GM and MW. | ||
