The Extra, written by and starring JIMEOIN, is a romantic comedy about an average guy who aspires to be a movie star and is willing to give anything a go to get there. It is being filmed entirely in Melbourne and also features Rhys Muldoon, Bob Franklin, Shaun Micallef and Kristy Hinze. Large audiences of volunteer extras are required to participate in the filming on several days, the first being FRIDAY 12 MARCH (9am - 6pm) at the Forum Theatre (City), with other dates to be scheduled in April. This is NOT paid work, but as a volunteer you will receive food, drinks, give-aways, entertainment and a fascinating behind the scenes look at the making of a movie.
