Let me just quickly clarify something before I forget - I said that I thought the show was disappointing COMPARED to the other four. It doesn't mean that I didn't still love it. :) And yes, that video that they showed to bring in the second half of the show was adorable. Has that been shown at Prince Pat shows before (or anywhere else for that matter)? The haircuts look like they're circa mid-2000 (ummmmmmm not that I can judge Tripod material by their haircuts, oh no... *cough*).

haha... it was WAY earlier than that. it was like 97-98ish material... I did ask Scod after - "that was really old wasn't it.." "Yeah.. REEEEALLY old.. we haven't done any video stuff for ages actually.!" "you could tell by the haircuts.." *laughs* ooh! I also asked them if they were gonna show any other video stuff.. like.. the video of Yon on that talent quest thinggy and Gatesy on Blue heelers.. and he cracked up and looked all mischeivous then said "yeah, we should do some more video stuff next week.. " or something to that effect.. :) and I understood ya, I meant the same..

Ahhhhhhhh hahahaha 1997-1998!!!!!!! Awwww how cute!! And the showing of the other video stuff next week gets a definite thumbs up from me. At the last show they should have: 1) A retrospective video show - Tripod Over The Years (starting with that memorable Hey Hey performance... awww!!!) 2) A 15 minute, epic Neil Diamond medley  3) A "best-of" setlist... picked by us  Yes yes yes... I can picture it in my head now... *goes off to her little dream world*

[/quote:post_uid0] I'm pretty sure I saw that end Cinema Tripodete first in the October 1999 run of Pat show. Or thereabouts. Not to be nasty, but that's when Gatesy's hair was so incredibly stupid. And I remember Yon saying something about his hair being a washing up rack, and all the water was dripping off the dishes (i.e Gatesy's sweat.) Gatesy just glared at him. Or something like that. And what are some of the lyrics to the Fremantle song? I'm racking my brain but I honestly can't remember.....?

Well don't tell them any of your ideas straight out or they won't do it!!! Apparently they've got a rule that they can't do anything anyone else has thought of... But yes, I thought that night's show was a bit of a let-down compared to the others. It DID seem really short too...I think the last one should be extra long - but still finish in time to get the trains home. It is NOT good having to wait until 7.30 in the morning for the first train out!!! Bloody Sunday's!!! *grrr*

Groovypants, this one's for you:  [i:post_uid0]"The Fremantle Song"[/i:post_uid0] (bee-yoo-tiful melody) ----- Have you ever seen the boats of Fremantle Beach, As the sun touches down on the bay? Have you seen all their lights coming on At the end of the day? As the clear western sky goes to red, Have you ever seen the colour the water turns? With the night coming on, Have you seen how the sand seems to burn? ...Well I have... and it's SHIT. ----- :)
