I've been told this show is really really good, but i haven't really heard anything about it. It appears to be an american sketch show which ran from 1995-98. None of the names listed on the IMDB site for this show meant anything to me. Was it over here in australia? Maybe i was too young to know what was funny back then. Was it on cable or something? I'm about to start downloading episodes to see what this show is about. Any comments about the show? like, is it good or bad?

Stunning sketch comedy show - highly recommend it! Was on Comedy channel for awhile in OZ. The two, Bob and David, still do work together. I heard they're doing some huge benefit in the US with greg proops and tenacious D Bob Odinkirk actually wrote for SNL and Conan O'Brien before the Mr Show, he wrote chris farley's motivational speaker bit from 10 yrs or so ago now. Dont know how David started out but his CD, ' shut up u fucking baby' is fantastic too Hope u enjoy.

Dave has been in plenty of stuff - Crank Yankers, the Tenacious D series, etc. Movie-wise I can remember him popping up on Ghost World, The Cable Guy, and most recently on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. All great stuff. I think he's been a major writer for Conan O'Brien as well. But 'Mr Show' is damn fine sketch show - must-see!
