i wish i were going!

i saw this t shirt once that said: "i used to dress like a pirate before it became popular, but now that everyone's doing it, i've stopped wearing my eyepatch!" it was really cool, but it didn't suit me unfortunately

anyway, to all you going... have fun on my behalf

All I need are piratey pants. I have piratey shirt, and can do dodge piratey shoes, but, alas, no pants.

Hello there.
Andrew McClelland here. Um, sorry about that last message. I'm not as net savvy as i like to pretend to friends, compatriots and the demanding Dr. Nasty.
Firstly, Correct, the original message was supposed to say that Just a t-shirt is not enough.
Secondly, that person from Bendigo (or was it Ballarat...curse my inadvertant insulting of niceys) Thank you for trying. If you want i'll call your parents in the morning for - you work for them yes? That was the gist? - And tell them that you're sick/dead/in love and can't possibly come home. I promise to do a respectable doctor/person worth falling in love with voice and everything.
And thirdly, you of underage, you can of course attend if one of your guardians is willing to attend with you. and i promise not to swear, or, if your guardian likes that kind of thing, i promise to swear. A shitload.
Thanks for the interest in the gig though everyone.
You're all lovely.
Cheerio!

Channel Ten is insulting our intelligence twice.
Firstly there is no such word as 'bigness'. And is sounds stupid in your ads. Stop using it.
Secondly, Rove... well the above applies...

sweet, cuddleable, AND he has the best line-up I've seen since the prince pat

even though it means I'll be driving up on thurs, coming back on thursday night, then driving back to the city again on friday during the day with my sis, I can't not be there, it'd be like not going to see... john howard get poked repeatedly with sticks in his soft fleshy bits until he fell through a tube lined with tough sticky-outy paper -getting billions of paper cuts- and into a pool of lemon juice.

yeah. that's right.

Surely someone has a couch you can crash on overnight?

Unfortunately I can't be there for the gig (its got something to do with me living in Sydney - although I would welcome a doctors call to my parents and workplace saying I've been transported to Melbourne for treatment of a 24-hour viral infection), but I wish the best of luck to Andy with the fundraising, and to all the acts performing on the night.

I will of course lend my support at a later date by organising a big group of people in Edinburgh to come and see the show which shall hopefully make up for my absence on the 1st

gm, yeah, they do - but my sis is coming up for the weekend and we're staying up in the city from fri-sun and she's never driven up to the city before=doesn't want to. I promised her I would, therefore I must.

it does indeed suck.

but it'll be ok

It was very nice of you to mention that I still could get in if I bring a guardian along but for some reason I dont think either of my parents would appreciate being dragged to a bar/hotel by a scruffy looking pirate
with a very large feather in their hat ! Anyway I hope a great night is had by all, especially thoughs of you lucky enough to be up on stage !

ARRRR... *coughsplutter* oh shit, my voice is shot from so much piratey talk last night.

This wench is very tired, but happy, and ready to tackle more pirates on my starboard bow.

arrgh

Cam - where do you even keep a cunt once you've cut it out?
Mick - on a piano stool.

I'm still wearing my spurs .... at the office .... and no one has told me off yet.

I may have to spur a few people.

GM's spurs really were great! The right one held my attention briefly when it jingled suddenly... I guess you could say it was the spur of the moment...
