THE SOMEWHAT BIG PIRATE PARTY – A COMEDY BENEFIT A massive comedy fundraiser is being at The Corner Hotel on Thursday 1st July to help ship Andy and Lawrence’s award-winning Comedy Festival show to the world’s biggest comedy festival - the Edinburgh Fringe. Local comics Andrew McClelland and Lawrence Leung created “THE SOMEWHAT ACCURATE HISTORY OF PIRATES” and celebrated sold out seasons in 2003 Melbourne Fringe (WINNER- Special Comedy Commendation Award) and the 2004 Melbourne Comedy Festival (WINNER – Comedians’ Choice Award). Help send their pirate madness to Edinburgh by chopping off your hand, replacing it with a hook and come to THE PIRATE PARTY BENEFIT GIG! Performers on deck include: Charlie Pickering (JJJ, ABC TV’s Stand Up), Eddie Perfect (2004 Best Newcomer, Comedy Festival), Dave Callan (the beardy favourite), Gerard McCulloch (Rove Live),The Pinch (3RRR, Radiodead), Man Bites God, Greg Fleet and more. why do fuckers always have to have events on a thursday night? O.o imma hope that's going to be during the time my parents are interstate, so i can go w/out having to worry about rocking up to work at 9am on friday which is impossible to do because the PT between melbourne and ballarat sucks major rancid donkey's balls. | ||
