Clue is the musical based on the game Cluedo. There was also a film with Tim Curry that was based on the musical. It was also called Clue.

Don't forget opening night of Fringe Furniture at the Melbourne Museum tonight - sure, it's not exactly comedy, but it's free so it can't hurt to come along and have a look.

Recommendations?
I'm not reading the Festival guide anymore 'cos it makes me jealous of all the people going to heaps of shows.
I can only fit in four even with my pass.

Michael Chamberlain is The King of the Divan
The Super Happy Robot Hour (going on Saturday!)
Matt Elsbury in Spun Out
The Brothers McKenzie: Old Fashioned Scarytale

I like to think some of the best but if I had a chance I'd check out:
Saruman the Pale
Faust
A Little Night Of Mass Destruction
The Whodunnit Live Radio Play at the Astor

hehe... recommendations galore!
*whispers* and if you're around look out for SOLD! on the 6th of October... you might have seen the signs....

Channel Ten is insulting our intelligence twice.
Firstly there is no such word as 'bigness'. And is sounds stupid in your ads. Stop using it.
Secondly, Rove... well the above applies...

Well Furniture was good tonight - I wound up posing (pretending to use my laptop) on the big stone desk and chair ("Stone Desk", item 059) for a video the artist's sister was making.

Loved 018 - "Clubber and Clubbette", very comfy. 057 - "Escher Hall Table" was quite nice too. I think my all-time fave is still the cardboard rocking chair from last year.

I'd love to be able to touch all the items, but I guess some crazy folk don't like the idea of hundreds of complete strangers pawing and climbing over their creations.

Well I've managed to plan at least as far as tomorrow night - hanging out in the Fringe Bar (goes without saying really) then The Super Happy Robot Hour - I figure I'm doing alright if I can keep planning at-least one night ahead

Forget it Ming, Dale's with me!

The show is going well, except that so far Prime hasn't transformed. And that REALLY shits me. I'll see what I can arrange for tonight.

There's a review of my show in today's Age, apparently. I haven't read it yet. It should be online tomorrow.

Still haven't managed to see ANYTHING!

GM - won't be seeing your show when I planned to, I've got to get stuck into my thesis before both my supervisors finish going bald. Fingers crossed for Thursday night though (will run away from class early, since I'm actually going to show up for the first time in almost a month).

Check out stuff in the Northcote Project - Dassalo's show, plus I've heard good things about Survival of the Prettiest.

Howard Still Pongs.

'Gag reflex.' - Tim (choking etc during Wimmin's Lit)
'Completely gone.' - Paul.

Respeck.

Damnation, doesn't look like I'm gonna get to see SHRH. Someone bootleg it for me.

Recommendation

I was about to go home from the Fringe Bar last night (having been soundly thrashed in Trivia, coming equal 6th with the bar staff) when I was told that I was going to see a show instead. It turned out to be comedy - Dave Bloustien's Middle Class Hero. I highly recommend it, if for no other reason than that Dave seems like a nice guy (he's actually pretty funny too).

I was at the opening night of SHRH - very funny in a very silly sort of way, despite the occasional technical glitch (never work with kids, animals, or giant truck robots). I didn't even realise Optimus was supposed to transform, shame I didn't get to see it.

Forget it Ming, Dale's with me!

The winning team was apparently called 'We Have a Robot Down' or something, which was a reference to my spectacular crash at the Fringe launch. Aw.

Yep, that one is on my 'To see' list. My R2 operator saw Dave's show the other day and gave it the thumbs up.

Sorry about that but it's just not happening. Tune in the 'In Siberia Tonight' in about 3 weeks for a sample of what you missed out on ....
