Lano and Woodley Tour- Canberra

Hello!

For all who may be interested- Lano and Woodley have their two last shows at the Canberra Theatre's Playhouse tonight at 7:30 and 9:30pm.
I was lucky enough to see them on wednesday and will be attending their final show tonight.
Lano and Woodley are delightful, ingenious, incentive, brilliant and their current show touring the country- The Island- is a physically matured, captivating and quite unique performance.
I still believe that it has room for growth and development, particulary in the middle sections, but the best shows always do.

I went to the 9.30pm Friday show with my friend who lives in Canberra.

I first saw the show in Melbourne during ComFest just after Frank hurt his knee. At that time he was doing the show on crutches. I wanted to see how the show was originally supposed to have been done, rather than the modified version I saw. This time was much better.

We spoke to them after the show and were thinking exactly the same thing as you. It felt very weird. I've always thought of Frank as being child-like but, of course, there's no reason why he should be in 'real life'. He is in his thirties, after all.

They're very professional.

And so full of energy after all those double nighted shows!

Their next season is Brisbane Playhouse, from the 1st Nov....then in Feb next year they will hopefully be at the Opera House.........will be putting that down in the diaries.
