I've lived here for 32 years....and my whole family for over 100 years and none of us are dead yet. Well not from the hands of serial killers anyway

I would have gone to the Festival if it were not for the fact that I live in Brisbane! I was planning to go to the 2008 one and wish Frank a happy bday on the 29th since he was born on a leap year, but since they are splitting that won't be happening.

I doubt Class Clowns is part of the Festival. I could be wrong.

Superband!? Aw, shucks. Superband rocks.

Please support the Tassie guys, they're all pretty chuckle-worthy, and there's something for everyone really.

I'm going to:
Tripod on 7 March
Adam Hills on 8 March
Rich Hall on 14 March
Lano & Woodley on 14 March

Still thinking about Scardies on 7 March cause they on after Tripod at same venue and Ross Noble.

But it depends when I am rostered to work for fringe....if they ever get back to me

Have you looked on website for Class Clown? I am sure I saw something somewhere. *realises the guide is next to her and looks*

Hmmmm can't see it. They might have changed the name

ohhh laugh-apoolooza on too.... :bounce:

Thanks Renee,

In fact, if any Moshers want to come and see my Show - "Duopoly of One" at 7 pm at the Warehouse, East End Exchange, 235 Grenfell St, then you can

FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! *

*(Friday 24th, Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th Feb)

Just come and see me before hand - I'll be there, and use the secret Moshy password of, oh I dunno, "Ummm, is it true you are letting Moshers in for free?"

PS If you are in any way twin savvy (are a twin, parents of twins, know twins, heard of Steve and Mark Waugh), you may be in the running for a free bottle of Tasmanian wine.

Can't say fairer than that!

cheers

Well so far the Adelaide Fringe has been really great. Ive run into sooooo many comdians including Arj Barker and Tom Gleeson. Have seen some really good shows as well including Ross Noble and Pizza. The guys from Pizza were really nice as well when i had a photo taken with them. Pauly is very short, but Rocky is really tall. I was dwarfed by him. There are also a lot of buskers in Rundle Mall these days. But i havent seen Johnny, the aboriginal guy who walks around in white gum boots and his underwear, who is well known in Adelaide for a while. Wonder where hes gone. Used to see him all the time in Rundle Mall.

Nah dude, he's still about. It was awesome, on opening night, when everyone's dressed skanky/crazy/fringey he was dressed in like a suit. As though that was his whacky outfit, 'normal' instead of leotard.
Johnny's still about, never fear. He did go on tour though to the Eastern states, and learnt to juggle.
Truly and Adelaide icon. And I love buskers, particularly the good ones. THe guy with the kazzoo is a bit of a concern mainly cos he freaks me out a bit.
Went and saw Eddie Perfect's show last night, twas pretty good, didnt have me laughing a lot, more the embarassed chuckle, followed by some serious pondering. But ooh he's a talented man. His voice is ridiculous, could he really sustain such a high level of performance for a full two hour show?
And I saw The Necks at the Spiegeltent a couple of Sunday's ago, seeing Pluck tonight with my dad, Lano and Woodley on the 12th, possibly Tripod (on my free night cos i'm, a ticket seller, whoo!) Maria Bamford hopefully at some stage, Rich Hall, maybe Daniel Kitson?
Oh, and if you are on the mailing list you'd all ready know this, but go to the Fringe box office at about 2-3 any time after 3pm, and the 2-4-1 shows that are on for that day should be up. THere's quite a few good shows up there at the moment, lots of lovely AUstralian comedians, many on at rhino room, but dotted about as well...

Saw the end of Pluck last night. hehehehe...they are great. Don't normally like classical music, but it was fabo.

Come see Rich with me. I'm going 14th.
