Hi, does anybody know what's going on with Comedy Inc? I tried to e-mail to audience@comedyinc.com.au which is the e-mail address channel 9 told me to e-mail, and it just kept coming back saying wrong e-mail. then I rang their Melbourne number and they just kept hanging up on me while transferring me to reception. Has the show been canceled or something? and if not, could somebody tell me how I can be part of the studio audience? I live in Melbourne so I can easily make it, but I just need the info.

The website is redirecting to the Crackerjack site and the latest news on it there is just for the "Late Shift" being on in 2006. There's no word on if they're returning in '07. I expect that if there are any more episodes to air this year, they've already been recorded by now. It's not scheduled to air in Sydney next week - Penn & Teller: Bullshit! has been returned.

Penn & Teller (yes, the magician ones) expose various beliefs or organisations or products or whatever as being "bullshit". Things like PETA, the War on Terror, Censorship and next week's episode "The War on Drugs". Generally well researched and often very interesting and funny... and packed full of obscenities. There's a thread in the Off Topic forum here for it.

'Comedy Inc. The Late Shift' appears to have finished airing for this year, because the ratings season is concluded as of this weekend, even though there are 3 more eps of this series still to air. They might air over the summer, though most likely they will air in 2007 at the start of the new series.

The show has been renewed, and will be back on air next year. For those interested in that sort of thing, it's up for 5 AFI Awards next week, including Paul McCarthy and Genevieve Morris for best tv comedy performance, best direction in television, and best comedy series.
