Why would you go to a COMEDY THEATER restaurant for the food? That's like going to McDonald's for the ambience?

I went to Dracula's in Melbourne earlier this year. I hated it, but that was mainly because I was feeling a little sick before I went in.

It's fun in a cheesy cabaret kinda way. Mocktails were nice, but you have to spend the evening arguing with the waiter about why you don't feel like drinking and why you don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on their souvineer glasses or novelty cocktail stirrers.

It's a fun night out if you can get cheap tickets.
Just avoid it if you're feeling nauseous or claustrophobic.

From what I recall (in between running to the bathroom every five minutes) the food itself wasn't too bad. That said, I mainly stuck to the breadsticks...but it all looked very nice. I think there was a chocolate coffin filled with ice-cream for dessert. It wasn't exactly gourmet food, but it's a few steps above McDonalds, if that helps.
