Say Thank You To Adam Hills

Dear all Go You Big Red Fire Engine fans,

For more then 5 years Adam Hills has been bringing us laughter and joy in all forms, his most recognized saying is of course, Go You Big Red Fire Engine.

I am not sure when but I will be seeing and talking to Adam in the future. I wanted to give him something so he knows how much I appreciate all what he is doing for me; but then I thought why limit it to me, this is when you come in.

My plan is that next time I see Adam Hills I want to give him a present. The present is a book with pictures of all his fans wearing the Go You Big Red Fire Engine t-shirts or holding his cd. Or frankly anything creative that you can do. Below each photo there will be a message from the fan above of what ever you want. Photos can also be of you with Adam if you have managed to meet him.

I will collect all these and print them and put them in a book; then pass it onto him next time I see him.

I just thought it would be nice for us to give something back to Adam as a thank you after all the years he has been great to us.

Each person will have one page that is all theirs.

Hello Moshers

I've been a rather quiet member of the forum for a few years now, but its time i got out of the dark and contributed...

As a couple of mad-cap Adam Hills fans, a friend and I are in the process of creating a Thank You book to be given to him as a physical token of appreciation for all the laugher and motivation (and in some cases, sanity) he has given us over his career.

So that it isn’t just all about us, we would like other fans to contribute – by submitting photos of yourselves with something to do with Adam (eg holding his cd/dvd or maybe with a fire engine!), and/or a photo with Adam if you’ve been lucky enough to meet him (please include details such as date/venue/show). Be creative. Also write a message for Adam. Everyone will have their own page, so go nuts!.

The end product will be professionally bound, and presented to Adam when we see him, which we are hoping will be around mid-November, so you have until the beginning if November to email all contributions to go_you_big_red_fire_engine_fan@hotmail.com

This is not just a pie-in-the-sky kind of thing, we’ve gotten replies from overseas already, and would really appreciate as many responses as we can get (so spread the word!). And both of us are known to Adam, so its a certainty that this will be presented to him in person (with photos to prove it).

And if anyone happens to be talking to Adam between now and when it’s completed, please don’t mention it! We would like it to be a surprise!

This came to an end a lot quicker than we ever imagined - Adam recieved the book on the 11th July, he was genuinely chuffed to be given it, and it will be on his new dvd in some way.
