Sunday's show (25th of May, 2008) - Episode 8:
  • The Chaser Boys
    Chas Licciardello & Craig Reucassel
Craig and Chas take a break from their national stage tour to swing by the Rove studio for a chat.

The Chaser was founded in 1999 as a fortnightly satirical newspaper produced out of a spare bedroom. Since those humble beginnings, the Chaser team has gone on to success in print, online, radio and TV shows - The Election Chaser, CNNNN, CNNNN Live, The Chaser Decides and The Chaser’s War On Everything. They’ve won Logie and AFI Awards, and have finally gone commercial with their new live production, The Chaser’s Age of Terror Variety Hour.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker
Hollywood star Sarah Jessica is best known as the fashion loving New York columnist looking for love in the hit TV show Sex and the City.

Sarah Jessica made her acting debut on TV at only 8 years of age, and appeared in a string of hit Broadway plays before she was a teenager. She went to Hollywood and starred in films opposite Kevin Bacon, Steve Martin, Ben Stiller, Johnny Depp, Nicholas Cage and Matthew McConnaughey. But it was as the New York columnist looking for labels and love in the big city that she is most loved for, winning Emmy and Golden Globe Awards as Carrie in Sex And The City. Four years after the closing credits rolled on the TV series, the movie Sex And The City hits screens on 5th June.

  • Julia Morris
Ever since singing Holding Out For A Hero on New Faces at 17 and tying first place with a girls’ marching band, Julia knew she was going to make it big.

Success as a stand-up, led to popularity on TV on sketch show Full Frontal, and then a successful move to the UK where she hosted BBC TV shows and appeared in major international Comedy Festivals. Eight years later, she’s back home and fresh from her win on It Takes Two, and sell out shows at the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals, Lady Julia Morris Tours around the country. • Vanessa Amorosi
The moment Vanessa Amorosi sings, people can’t help but notice.

She has one of the greatest voices in Australian music, a voice that led to huge hit singles (‘Absolutely Everybody’ & ‘Shine’) and the album ‘The Power’.

Vanessa became the first Australian female to reach #1 on the ARIA chart with her debut album – and she was only 18! She was super huge, super quick so Vanessa decided on much needed time out. She spent a good four years writing for other people but soon realized that she really missed singing on a stage.

It’s been worth the wait as Vanessa Amorosi has just delivered her eagerly anticipated second album “Somewhere in the Real World” featuring the hit single “Perfect”. Vanessa Amorosi is gracing the Rove band stage to perform “Perfect” – and this is one voice you don’t want to miss hearing!

Kevin "Ruddy PM" Rudd will be on next week's show, which starts at the "special" time of 9.15pm.
Be interesting to see if they air another installment of "Ruddy PM" while he's there.
