If all goes well I'm going too! YAY I'll save the happy dance till I get my time off approved. I have to get time off work cause I work 10-6 in brisbane which is bout 45mins away from the coast

I booked my tickets today!!! I phoned the GCAC (Gold Coast Arts Centre)

GCAC: Good Morning GCAC box office
Me: Hi I'd like to book tickets for GUD
GCAC:.......
Me:...... The Paul McDermott Show!
GCAC: OH right....Sorry I had no idea what you said, how close from the stage would you like to be seated?
Me: AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE!!!

So I got Row A (Which is row three) Centre
WOOHOO!!! Now I have to get the time off work & get someone to come with me...

Hey sounds like there are alot of MOSHers going, we should meet up before hand maybe?

I don't think I can go....

If it's on a Thursday night (which it's supposedly on) i'll have school the following day, and mum probably won't let me go cause i'd be buggered for school.

Do you think Paul gave the show a weird name so that we all look/sound stupid ringing for tickets? Or is it to make the ticket office people look stupid?

I don't know but my tickets actually say "Paul McDermott GUD Hard Core Cabaret" so maybe he thought nobody would go if he didn't put his name on them? If this comedy thing doesn't work out, the man has a big career as a Barbie doll - just put your name on it, Paul and it'll sell :p

And I forgot to say I got front row seats and I'm not going to be wearing PVC

Read it yourself

It was pretty amusing at the time though I haven't thought about it in almost a year. As a footnote, I actually tracked down (no, not stalked :p )the woman who wrote the article and spoke to her after all was said and done. We had a good laugh at the irony of the whole thing.
