Reputation System Poll - Keep it or dump it?

So the trial of the reputation system has been running a while now, so I think people have had a chance to use it or not, at their discretion. So it seems a good time to have a poll.

Do people want to keep the system or dump it?

I've been checking the logs and while some people are using it, it's not getting used a lot and I don't know if that's because people don't want to, don't like it or just can't be bothered or whatever.

So, poll. Keep it or dump it and maybe let me trial something else you'll all greet with a hearty "meh"?

I vote 'meh'. I don;'t use it, I don't bother checkign who has 'rep' or not.

I like it, but that's mostly because I'm doing well *G*

There haven't really been a lot of posts to rate lately, or I would have done more with it.

Yeah, I realise that's probably not helping, but only a handful of people have bothered at all, even when there's been good review posts made and so on. And I've given it 2+ weeks, so I thought it was time for a poll.
Not going to remove it overnight or anything, people will have time to have their say. See what happens I guess.

If it makes absolutely no difference to keep it, then i'd vote to keep it. If it takes up too much space on the server, or if it were costing more money, or some other reason to keep it and you'd rather have something more useful, then I'd vote dump it.

Server space is trivial, does use some CPU time that could be used for other things, does use some space in the left column that could be used for other things, etc.
It's also that if people don't really want it then it's better to remove it since then nobody needs to check if anyone is abusing it either.

Well that's what i imagined anyway. Doesn't really fill up much space on the left column though

I suppose there's the abuse factor as well as the non-use factor. If a new member were to view the reputations, and saw someone with as many bars as Alisso, they may assume that she didn't have that many bars, when infact she probably has the most on the forum.

i'm with the meh for GM, people don't seem to use it, i myself forgot all about it until i saw this post.
