Dear Glasshouse,

Please give Corinne even shorter skirts and saucier camera angles.

Thankyou kindly,
Me.

[Edit]
Oh, okay, I'll make a more serious comment - the first half of tonight's show was perhaps one of the funniest bits of GH EVER!

"I love how that implies the hat has a phone of it's own!"
"If it has a phone why didn't it ring you to tell you you'd forgotten it?"

And so on. And poor Molly's just sitting there wetting himself laughing while Denton and Hughes keep firing off more and more hat jokes.

"Ooooh, Mister 'I host a show people actually watch!'"

Woo hoo!
This week's GlassHouse was a catalyst for me to come out to my grandparents - they were bitching on and on about Molly Meldrum joking about being queer, and I just got sick of it. But now they're really awkward around me. Ah well. I thought it was a pretty funny ep, anyway.

Hi Corinne!
She made a comment about having to sit like a lady.

Good episode, lots of cool guests. Found the non-comedian panellists funnier than the two comedians (Alan Brough and Meshel Laurie).

I assume it would be inappropriate to offer to replace Lauren Burns' vibrators?

Much amusement. Very much hope they're coming back next year.

That sucks. But if they're just "really awkward" as opposed to "openly hostile" then at least you know they still love you and they're trying to come to terms with it as best they can.

Totally forgot to mention the main reason I had to post a comment - Wil's stream of rude descriptions of John Laws, ending with, "Don't ya just love free speech?"
Absolutely brilliant! I don't know if it was his idea or one of the writers but I loved it.

Pretty good episode last night. I have to say, tsk tsk though... when using information gathered from the internet the writers really should take a gander at snopes.com first.

i thought it was curious though thatthey referred to it as the series finale, not season.

perhaps wil's prediction of it not coming back were correct.

normally they say "and that was the final episode of blah blah for 2004". last night it was just we hope you enjoyed the series finale of the glasshouse"

if so that's 2 jobs in a week wil's lost

I didn't notice it last night but you're right. There was no mention of The Glasshouse coming back next year. That contrasts with Strictly Dancing earlier in the night where the commentators definitely said that it was coming back.

Although I seem to remember hearing from Wil somewhere that the Glasshouse was almost certainly coming back next year. One of the live shows maybe?

He has said that it's virtually certain, but there's still a few question marks. Guess the ABC was covering their tails, just in case.

That's why I'm encouraging people to write in and say how much they love the show... if they are already coming back, it won't hurt to reinforce the fact that a lot of people love the show and want it to return.

I've already managed to get a letter into the SMH... what else can others do *g*

(Come on I dare you... show your love for the show) *bg*

Given both Dave and Wil's reactions, they didn't have much of a choice!

The absolute funniest moment for me was when Dave put the bowler hat on at the end, and I realised that he looked like one of the Gringott's Goblins from Harry Potter.

In Melb they said it was the final Glasshouse for 2004.
