Drunk Midget to even Drunker Chick - Have you ever had anyone go up on you before?

Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

I'd be hurrahing too, if I could find when they are screening it (presently, according to the website, they aren't) and if the first night tickets hadn't sold out, which is supposedly where Paul is meant to be entertaining the afterparty guests. And/or the Scree. Bah.

But yay, lots of films to seeeeeee.

The opening night has sold out.

It's also screening on 7 August as part of a whole group of short films. Tall Tales and Strange Dreams you have to register first to book.

Tall Tales and Strange Dreams

Country: Argentina, Australia, Germany, Korea, Democratic People's Republic of, Spain
Languages: English / Korean / Serbian with English subtitles / Spanish / No dialogue
Description:

Doggy
This film about a boy looking for his lost puppy is an antidote to all films about boys looking for lost puppies.

Hourglasses
Set in a world where, at a certain age, women’s mouths are sewn shut by their own brothers, Hourglasses is the story of a boy who suffers after having performed such an evil act on his sister.

Nuts and Bolts
High up on the scaffolding of a construction site, an apprentice, his frog, and the site foreman take a lunch break that never was.

Summer of the Serpent
The arrival of a mysterious newcomer transforms the lonely day of 8-year-old Juliette. Summer of the Serpent explores the compelling bond that develops between two people from different worlds.

Public/Private
In the first week of 2002, Argentina was without a government. Public/Private is the recreation of the uncertainty left by this void—will an injured girl die or will she live to see another day?

Run Rabbit Run
A fox chases a rabbit through the frozen forest. A fresh and original exercise in suspense that captured first prize in the Cinéfondation competition at Cannes 2003.

The Scree
Five friends set off on an adventure in a small boat. They find a mysterious island that is covered in weird plants and inhabited by deadly creatures. One by one, the travellers die a terrible death...

Total Length 88 mins.
