I've just had a thought. I assume that the Regent Theatre is in Melbourne. I wonder if Paul's planning to attend the award ceremony at the end of the month. It would fit in with the possibility of a GUD show at the Spiegeltent (according to Cameron).

This is from an article in last Saturday's Herald Sun:

The awards will be held at Melbourne's Regent Theatre on Friday, October 29, and televised on the ABC the following Sunday at 6pm.

I'm undecided about spots - Geoff (Coupling)

Who does surveys of 3 people, 3's not statistically significant - Cameron (Love Gud)

I'm so relieved that Comedy Inc didn't get on that list. It's a pity I haven't seen most of the nominated films/shows. Go The Scree! (and I would like to reinforce Unfy's WTF with my own RE: Strictly Dancing)

i think its appropriately nominated. It is light entertainment, its popular, its fun. Nothing wrong with it.
And i hope Tom White wins lots of awards. I think Somersault will cleanup though, and I'll eat my proverbial hat if DecoderRing dont win for best soundtrack.

Enough Rope will probably kick it's arse though. I really, really don't like Kath & Kim but it's probably going to walk away with a whole heap.

I'd like to see the doco The President Versus David Hicks.

sorry this off-topic for the thread, but...
Speigletent peeps don't actually have any GUD dates up. Yet.
