for the record "friday night" was a cover, it was either written and proformed in the 50's 60's or 70's, it was definatly not written by paul, but fuck he does a good job of covering it.

Unfortunatly "she" was not his material either, and it's a shame, because he does it so well.

well i know a fair bit about lou reed and as far as i know it's his song so yeah

as for stupidville i remember possibly reading here that someone said it was a cover..or maybe it was't here not sure

buuutt like i said i only think it's true and i'm probably wrong anyway

as for the jen and helen rumour..it sounds cool buuuut were jen and helen both doing brekkie togeter..i'm not sure if they were..aand i didn't think paul did radio with helen..i thought she either left or i think went on afternoons around the time when adam spencer started (by the way did they DO afternoons together at one stage..i thought they did but maybe adam just had a spot or something) before paul was doing breakfast with mikey yeah but who know

anythings possibly right

Are you serious? Friday Night is not a Paul original?

Aww... no fair.  Oh well, he does do a great version of it anyway
