I was too afraid in case everyone thaught I was stupid but hey, *its gotta come out sooner or later So, Im sorry if it was answered ages ago when the Paul and the Fatman special was actually on, (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth) but Ive gotta ask. In the words of that girl off the pepsi chart whose name escapes me at the moment: 'OCPWNFT. What the f--- does THAT mean?' Ive tried amillion theories: Guests- Cant be, no J for Jimeoin Nothing to do with Paul or Mikey- no Ms No F and S for Sandy and Flacco ARGH!!! ITs driving me bananas Help me! (if you can. One, that "O-C-P-W-N-F-T" is a series of letters that include all the sounds the mouth makes in normal speech, and they're used for mike tests...hence the "This is not a test" thing in the song... Two, that it DOES stand for something, but the closest anyone's guessed is "One Crap Performer With No Fucking Talent", and even that isn't quite right. The real answer, I suspect, is only know to McDermott and friends, and unless you can be bothered asking him directly, we're never going to know *g* | ||

When Paul & The Fatman first aired on TV, everyone wanted to know what OCPWNFT meant. There was a lot of speculation but nobody had yet forwarded a guess. Being a smartarse (and slightly drunk at the time) I posted on DAASfic that it stood for One Crap Performer With No Fucking Talent. DMG then posted it on MOSH when the same question was asked and everyone took it as fact. THEN Haggis asked Paul in Melbourne and he said something like "No, but it's close" I have apologised about 1000 times for saying it in the first place. It was meant to be a joke and never meant to be taken seriously. Of all the suggestions that followed it, this one stuck (even though I also had people believing at one point that DAAS were reforming, complete with re-releases of Icon and Book * *)So, in closing (for those at the back who didn't quite hear) [b:post_uid0][i:post_uid0]OCPWNFT[/i:post_uid0] does [i:post_uid0]NOT[/i:post_uid0] stand for One Crap Performer With No Fucking Talent[/b:post_uid0] . . . and I'm going to be punished for the rest of my life for saying it does :frustrat: | ||
