Reputation:  Reputation Power: 3 | I'll admit (reluctantly!) to going. I was in the city to see a movie anyway and I thought, why not! It was the strangest dog show I've ever seen, not that I've been to many. Lots of little dogs of the pekinese & chihuahua variety. Several categories contested, with a local vet as the judge. Prizes included dinners at local restaurants for the owners and bags of Schmakos for the dogs. Best-looking Dog prize went to a rat-like creature in a sequinned and tasselled outfit. Needless to say, Paul does not seem to have much of a rapport with our four-legged friends, especially the two that took nips at him! Even less of a rapport with a couple of little girls who won prizes in various categories. One of them looked frankly terrified when Paul asked her name and who she'd take along for her dinner! The highlight of my afternoon - the full-on fight between two dogs during the Best Kings Cross Dog category. Audience voting gave it to the dog who started the fight!
