Reputation: Reputation Power: 2 | I have a tape of DAAS Kapital too. I'm just not entirely sure about how good the copy is which was taped off another copy someone else had. Partly cause I have trouble with the volume, the TV in my room has to be turned up really loud to hear it and the TV in the family room which has a set volume makes it sound very quiet. So no I don't think I could record it for you. I would happily buy a copy of it which was of a better quality if DAAS decided to release it on DVD or something. Which reminds me, it's now July, where is the DVD they said was being released this year? And any news on the GNW reunion special? Amities, SS | ||

If Comedy Channel no longer have the rights then it's likely no one has them anymore. You could try and find out who holds the original rights and ask them to allow free copying rights now that they're no longer making money from repeat rights? *shrug* A "Collected Works of the Doug Anthony All Stars" DVD would be great, would probably make them some money and would definitely solve the quandary fans are in now. Reputation: Reputation Power: 9 | You can do it that way, but the problem is that you have to play the tape at regular speed in order to record it. So if you have 80 hours worth of tape, it's going to take 80 hours to record them to DVD. Even assuming a relatively modest cost of $15 an hour for a professional to do it, you're still looking at $1200. | ||
