I didn't like the new song either - or the renaming of 'Bad Street Theatre'. There's no real reason for either of them to be changed.

As for guests I'd also love to see Anthony Morgan, Amanda Keller and definately Pinky - just because he is so awesome in every possible way. Others include Tim and Rich (especially after rewatching the episode where Tim completely threw that game of 'Magazine Mastermind'), Julia Zemiro, Adam Spencer, Rhys Muldoon and all those old favourites.

Also found that second Jensen ad where he pushes Paul. No luck on the bloopers one yet though Channel 10 has put up an extra clip of Jensen on the show tonight on their Supernatural website.

* Song was bullshit, bring back hedgehoppers anonymous

* claire is not funny, obviously someone there has a hardon for her otherwise she wouldn't have gotten so much air time with sideshow and GNW. i yelled at the tv several times when she tried to be funny.

* i am funnier than claire hooper and will fight anyone that says otherwise

* nice set

Apparently, the show rated just under 1 million viewers (around 990 500, I think). That's better than I thought!!

well ... I officially miss tapings .. which also means I officially miss Sydney .. which means I'm sick .. deranged possibly ..

as for the show .. I thought it was 'meh' .. and I wonder if that might have been it's downfall in the beginning .. it's like they cut all the funny bits out and you know they were there but you don't get to see them ...

I missed it on TV, did they cut out much from the taping?

I tried booking tickets to another taping yesterday and discovered they're booked out until late April. Even allowing for the few weeks that will be filmed in Melbourne, that's still pretty impressive... Particularly seeing as though the first episode hadn't aired at the time.

It's weird, years ago GNW was my only source of news. I didn't read the papers or watch TV news or anything. Now, it's different. The storied that had to be mimed were the only stories I wasn't already familiar with.

I thought she did okay with the funny (and I liked her on the Sideshow, I'll admit) but I'm not really sure about her as a team captain. She doesn't strike me as a clever-person-who-knows-what's-going-on-and-is-likely-to-have-the-right-answers. Craig seemed to fill that role better last night.

Yeah, renaming seems pointless. The bit with the guy from supernatural was 'who wants to sit down the front in a chair', wasn't it? That's the music they played, iirc. But since it's a relaunch of the show, I'll forgive renamings.

I really didn't like the song, though.

then she fits in well, cause Julie rarely seemed to know the answers

And was rarely funny.

All on the one show? That'd be an absolute killer if it happened.

Same with me. As soon as they started putting the other stories together I knew what they were talking about straight away - whereas in the early days I didn't pay attention to the news at all and never really knew what they talking about. It's interesting how things change.

I found myself thinking that too. She didn't seem strong or commanding enough with her answers for the captain role and Craig did seem a lot more knowledgeable about the current affairs - but that's part of his job with the Chasers. It's probably just because she's new at this while the others have all done it before. I'd like to see how much she settles in over the next few weeks.

It was the same music. The only thing different between that and 'in a chair' was the lack of the table with the laptops on it. Still that name change didn't bother me at all as 'Millionaire' hasn't been around for years and that reference has probably been lost a little.

Fair enough. I remembered her not being all that funny, so assumed she was there 'cause she knew answers, kind of thing.

Yeah, there were a bunch of things that I subconsciously thought were sub-par, but but down to first episode-ness.

Glad it's not just me who does not find Claire funny...

Even though Julie rarely new the answers and was not the most witty of people though she still came across as being intelligent.

Claire just comes across as being an idiot... she's too twittery.
