It was very very funny tonight. Reg and Marc's many american jokes were funny. Reg suggesting he and Fuzzy should show Mikey their genitals was funny. Claire wiping the possibly-not-vegemite on the bum was funny. Claire telling Fiona she had to ask permission to talk was funny.

The whole crowd singing the Vegemite song was funny!

I forget what else was funny. Things. Things were funny.

hello everyone I'm tiffany and i'm new here =)

Went to the 1:45 show at MICF and regretted not seeing the 4:30 show. My friend caught the first few minutes on tape, so bloody funny

Yes this weeks ep was hilarious. Thanks to mum who ruined it by walking in and yelling at me to switch off tv JUST as paul touched Reg's arse haha. He seemed a lot funnier this week than at the MICF

and wow julie mccrossins going to be a guest, that'll be good

Should go to bed now, good night

Was anyone here at the taping for his episode?

I'd love to know if they had to do multiple attempts at getting the whole audience to sing the vegemite song so well. If they did it that well in one go, that's impressive in a scary and very Australian way.

And Yay! Julie!

my mum popped into my house this morning, and she was singing the Vegemite song....and I'm like..."gee have you been watching GNW mum?" ofcourse she knew the words off by heart, but she is OLD

Claire was SLIGHTLY funny this week. can't believe I admitted that. Gee I really must be sick (well I am so )

I like "Reggie"... sort of wished I'd seen his show now.

I'm not alone!! Claire is getting better - maybe it's being around Paul and Mikey every week. Maybe their funny is rubbing off on her??

Mikey said on yesterdays Vega, that he thought last night's show was the funniest he had done, and I have to agree, I laughed so loud! I love Reggie, he's a classic!!

"One of these things is not like the others!" Mikey and Fiona are very quick with comebacks. I had little idea who Fuzzy was (I'm too old now to watch Video Hits - that's a little sad), but she was very funny. Also, I had never heard of Marc Maron, but he was funny too. I do love an American who can take the piss when it comes to Americans. So many are so sensitive!!

Can't wait to see Julie - does anyone else think that Claire may feel left out, and a little intimidated, after all, Julie was the original captain. (I know, not THE original, that was Anthony Ackroyd - but she was the original regular captain...you know what I mean). Did anyone go to the filming?? How was she?

I was at the taping =)

And the vegemite song was basically all in one go...though when Mark said that he'd like to hear it, some people started singing, so Paul had to give us a few cues...

and Julie was funny =) I haven't seen too much of her on the old show though, just unseen and obscene and what's on youtube, so I can't really compare...they get her in the tubey thing, and she did a few promos as well...

Hey what did you think of tonight's episode? It wasnt as funny as it probably couldve been. They didnt seem as enthusiastic as last weeks episode. Julie didn't say very much. Was the taping a lot funnier before they cut stuff out?

But it was funny watching Paul get the piss taken out of him coz of his height..and his 12th birthday! Poor Paul lol

I thought it was pretty darn great, actually? Mikey got pwned pretty bad in the funny stakes by Claire tonight. He used the tired old "I have a life", Claire burnt him with the tattoo on his wife thing, then he used the tired old "That spot doesn't exist" thing.
Of course Mikey was still funnier than Julie.
So new Queen of GNW is Claire.

i thought it was rather ho-hum.

was it just me or did i hear people boo when he called claire's name? u could hear how loud the audience was when he said julie's name. but i agree julie was rather quiet. it looked like we were almost going to get the talking breasts in the booth but sadly no.

if i was claire (btw, i'm still funnier, does she even read a fucking paper before she goes on??) i would have made a symbolic gesture of giving julie the captaincy for that night

and julia morris should be shot. god she bugs the crap out of me.

was it just me or was chris trying too hard to be funny? he kept interrupting everyone to get a line in.

Was anyone else completely shatted off by the fact that Paul's tie pin was crooked for the entire show? I was having trouble concentrating on the funny because of that damn pin.

Hah, I didn't actually notice. Come to think of it, it was crooked but then again i didn't really take notice of his tie, it wasn't a very nice looking one.

Yeah Chris was very annoying. He kept carrying on with the air that HE was the host or somehting. Claire's getting a lot better now, looking back at these past few weeks.

I thought it was great to see Julie back.

And yes I have to admit that Claire is getting better. Though I still think she's a twit.

Chris on the other hand... He made a few funny comments but I agree, I think he was really trying to take over the show and pull all the attention to himself.

I noticed that, and it was bugging me....

I keep thinking
1) why has he got one on
2) why is it crooked
3) its crap and it almost looks like a womans hair clip

It was great to see Julie back...I missed her.

It was a funny show last night...loved them all standing up and clapping Julie.

Chris was alright.....he made a reference to Steve Irwin and one to Princess Diana which lost him some crowd support but other than that he was fine.

Julia's short dress + soundproof booth= very interesting posture over fan...hahaha

Mark Watson did not say much...might have been that Chris said a lot....

My friend thinks Paul was spinning a story with the 12th b'day thing but I think he was being honest....poor thing....no cake for Paul....

Looking forward to next week's...I'm going to check out the website extras.
