Comedy DVD's

I thought I would mention that Paul's management is going to be producing some DVD's - they dont know what or when it is going to happen, but hopefully it will include the gnw series, daas kap, daas concerts etc...

Andrew mentioned that with Paul being so busy that they dont know when this will happen, so start hassling people.

They've filmed some material for a Gud DVD, and they're working on that, but it was meant to be out for Christmas, so it looks like they might have been a little too busy *G* We should prod them and tell them to get their priorities straight! Bugger family christmases, get on with the DVDs!!

Not sure about DAAS Kap coming out on DVD though, don't comedychannel still own the rights to that?

According to some of our resourceful little MOSHers The Comedy Channel no longer has the rights to Big Gig or DAAS Kapital. If they can bring out Effie DVDs they should be able to bring out DAAS DVDs.

But more importantly, they filmed GUD!?!?!?!?! Thank (insert deity)!

Ahhh, excellent...maybe we can expect a DAAS Kap dvd...I suppose it depends on who has the rights now. Not sure about Big Gig though...there's too much of that to put it on DVD unless they were planning on making a series of DVD's, and somehow I think that would have limited appeal *giggles*

The night they did the webcast of it at the Basement, I got drunk and bailed up Andrew and asked him what was happening with the rumoured Gud DVD *giggles* He seemed amused *g* and he told me they were working on one, and had gotten some good footage that night, and were planning to do some more filming at the Canberra ones they were about to do. Not sure if they've filmed any other bits.

He also recognised me as having been to Gud several times before in different places *giggles* and so he asked me whether I thought that night's had been a good one *giggles* I was very embarrassed

I've only seen Gud once, and bits and pieces of Big Gig and Daas Kapital from websites.

I want the DVD's and I want 'em NOW!

By the sounds of things, they have the rights to almost everything Paul has done. It seems they want to try and get a heap of stuff out on DVD including DAAS/GNW stuff.

I'll hassle as well......if I know where to..........

I'd love to see the Big Gig and DAAS Kapital stuff out on DVD........the Late show managed 370 mins on 2 CD's so I don't see that being a problem...........

As for GUD I don't want to see a DVD until after the 13th February when it makes its way up to Darwin for the first time..........can't wait......

It's amazing how you find this stuff out! If they do produce DAAS Kap. DVDs, do you think they'd alow people in america (Like me!) to order them? ::ponders:: I know i spent money on a D&A video, and i should have read more clearly, cos the PAL format doesn't work in American VCRs....I dont think that's possible with DVDs....Whoops went off on a bit of a rant there...

I'm a MOSH!! newbie so I'm going to ask 2 silly questions,

1. Who is Andrew?
(I'm guessing he's Paul's manager?)

2. What is GUD?

It sucks living in Brisvegas
