took a while to write back - basically I just need some free time at work to post hehe.

Parramatta rocked! Its certainly becoming a must-see event for comedy. The launch featured lots of fun in the courtyard including Love TV, and a special performance from Circus Oz suspended from the new roof.

Shows have all been great so far - kick arse cabaret, newtberton and Tan Jose. Still have yet to see Show Us Ya Wits and The Schneedles. I'm just trying to get out and see acts I've not seen before. Lots of females.

Not only is it a great opportunity for the west to see comedy, its great for acts who want to warm up their shows for Melbourne. And it certainly appears thats its impact and importance for acts is not going unnoticed... I spied Susan Provan from MICF at the proceedings on Saturday.

Don't forget - the Riverside is also hosting the only Sydney performance of the Comedy Festival Roadshow this year.

Is there a reason why noone is suggesting that we all go and see Paul and Cameron in Gud UGH or are we all just taking it as a given??

It's a given, about the only thing that is not a given is how many times we will be seeing it.

Cam - where do you even keep a cunt once you've cut it out?
Mick - on a piano stool.

Out of the acts I have seen so far

Flight of the Concords - Looks to be a fucking fantastic show, I've only seen bits of the them, but its all been good.

Tripod - good show for people who haven't seen a lot of tripod, lots of songs, they do most of the skithouse songs.

Boothby Graffoe - Bloody brilliant, honestly I'm not sure how much is rehearsed and how much adlib, but I know the show would go a hell of a lot longer if he did all material I beleive is in his head. In fact it would probably go all festival.

Neil Innes - If you're a monty python fan or if you're lucky enough to know who The Rutles are go along, lots of singalongs if you want to join in.

Dave Gorman - OK I wasn't really a fan of Dave Gorman, but I got free tickets to him, so I did what any good MOSHer would do when offered tickets, accept. This show was ace, and now I am obsessed with finding googlewhacks, I've been trying all day and I've only got one so far.

The Festival Club Saturdays - An absolute must, comedians sings 70s and 80s songs, bring your dancing shoes and drunkenly sing along.

Cam - where do you even keep a cunt once you've cut it out?
Mick - on a piano stool.

The Spinning Wheel Cabaret Club - only two more for the whole Comfest!

You get to laugh at excellent comedy, groove to cool turned and then dance all night to a dj that needs a bit of work on his changes between songs...
