Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

parks are fun, especially with a frisbee... mmm.... memories...

if you're feeling adventurous you can head over to chapel street or bourke road, pretty funky areas to chill with gloria jeans or boost juice, and a bit of window shopping...

and while on the 'places to just walk around' subject, southbank is trendy and if you don't have severe moral objections, crown is ok...

other than that... could do a tour of parliament house...

I am told that Melbourne has this MEGA op shop but I've forgotten what it's called. They also have plenty of factory outlets. I don't know Melbourne well enough so maybe a local could tell you where these places are.

Lygon Street for Italian pizza and pasta and St Kilda for cakes cakes and more cakes.

I do find Melbourne a bit boring though, maybe I just don't know where to go although I've never been there for comfest so this could be the reason.

Don't forget Minotaur in Elizabeth Street, and where Job Warehouse used to be, and Chadstone shopping centre (Bad joke for those of you that have seen the same show as I have). It's freaky.
