Scaredies (biased :p ) , Tripod, The Four Noels, Lano and Woodley... Based on the galah, not on actually being there. But them (and a couple of others) were quite funny I thought. :thumbs-u:

Ross Noble is a genius and deserves all his prizes but my personal favorite was GUD by far.  Comedyoscopy was great too, specially when it went outside. But GUD was the best.

I saw so many shows that by the end of the festival I had been all laughed out.  But towards the end (although I did almost fall asleep during carl baron - not my fault, i was tired, and away from the stage with a dickhead in front of me who kept moving his head from side to side - so I got fed up and just went to sleep instead, but he was still funny...) the show that really did impress me the most were the Umbilical Brothers, as I've never seen them live before.
Other shows that impressed me were:
GUD and Comedyoscopy - I did enjoy the latter no matter what anyone else says about it, it was quite good.  He did put a warning on the poster, so it's your own fault if you didn't laugh.
Chris Addison - I could identify with so much of his show, because of my brittish heritage (dopey dad, and my grandmother).
Rene Hicks - I don't like Americans, but since she doesn't either it's ok!  When I saw her, she was wickedly funny.
Ross Noble - I did like his banter.  He wasn't a stand out, but he's definately consistent with his jokes.
Boiling Point - Incredibly funny... saw it twice, and laughed even harder the second time.  Well done Charlie and Michael!
There's more, But I gotta headache!

i'm pretty sure that the warning was there for comical purposes.

I'll have to agree with VAx in regards to Carl Barron and the Umbilical Brothers. We went to pretty much everything together, and I guess we have a similar taste in comedy.

The Umbilical Brothers were definitely the highlight of the fest for me and I'm glad I went to see them. I hadn't seen anything they'd done before, before I organised my tickets (and that includes the Gala) but they were awesome and very talented.

I think I've already mentioned the other shows I gave 5/5 to in another post, but if I haven't, you can find them on my site.

Fave shows for me: GUD the night the Queen Mum died, just for Paul freaking out.
Adam Hills (thank Gud there was no audience participation this year, I almost forgot to breathe due to laughter.
Boiling Point, especially the bit about student radio.
Did anyone else see Outrageous? The biggest piece of shit I have ever seen.

Howard Still Pongs.

'Gag reflex.' - Tim (choking etc during Wimmin's Lit)
'Completely gone.' - Paul.
