the programme usually comes out the friday before the labor day weekend and tickets go on sale a couple of days later.

Cam - where do you even keep a cunt once you've cut it out?
Mick - on a piano stool.

Hell no aussiechica! The only over-18 gigs are the ones in pubs and clubs where alcohol is sold.

And with the help of others you can get into them without trouble.

I did Melbourne to Sydney...almost 12 hours, from memory. It's not a fun trip. To be honest, I think you'd be better off catching a coach. Bus seats tend to be more comfortable than trains.

And I think they're cheaper...they don't take THAT much longer, either.

The train is horrible! Save up for a plane or catch a bus.

Just grab some older mates - as you're a chick you can put on copious amounts on make-up and end up looking like a 20-year-old slut. :p

My dad took a train in a sleeper carriage from Sydney to Melbourne after a conference. They travel at night and Dad found it very comfortable. Basically you hop in, fall asleep, and wake up at your destination. They have showers as well if you want to freshen up.

If you're desperate to save money, and have time to spare its worth it. The trains aren't overly reliable when it comes to timetables though (but then what's new!).
I got the train from Brisbane to Sydney - the train left two hours late and arrived 4 hours late. I sat next to a Canadian backpacker who had decided to travel around Australia by train, and he said that every single train he'd travelled on was late. He hadn't actually seen much of the country, other than out of the train window, as a result. (Why on earth he thought trains would be a good way to see a country as big as ours in 10 days is another story)

They could have their liquor license suspended for having minors on the premises, I think that's what Munchkin was referring to?
After all, a pub with no alcohol isn't a great money spinner... People aren't drunk enough to put all their money through the pokies then!

A minor in the pub/club/whatever can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and the liquor lic.
