| defective lunatic | from what i can remember, i think ticket prices vary from place to place, so your best bet is finding out your closest roadshow venue and calling them. you'll probably be able to book your tickets through the venue but i know some places (like wollongong) also go through ticketek, so just call and ask ![]() and if anyone has any inside info on who's performing where, please let us know so we can decide whether it's worth going to *g* | ||

| MOSHer | The Roadshow concept is that they take comedy and the excitement of the Melbourne Festival to places that don't have regular comedy available. It is usually 4 or 5 comics from the years festival (or have been in previous festivals), doing gigs together. So one is MC, and the other 3 or 4 do 20 min sets. It's the same gig everywhere, but there are 2 tours going around, so you either get one lineup or the other. Who is actually on the tour going through your area isn't announced until the final week of the Festival. I can tell you though that Chris Addison is on one of the tours this year. | ||

Interviewer: Dave Grohl said that Songs for the Deaf is the best album he's ever played on. Wasn't that guy in Nirvana? Josh Homme: He says all the time, "I was in fuckin' Nirvana, man." And I tell him, "OK, buy me something."

Actual ComFest in Victoria. Yes, let's have more roadshow dates in Victoria! ![]() (I'm going to a roadshow anyway, but that doesn't stop me thinking the schedule is a great big stinking pile of horse shit. )
