Last night was the annual MICF radio teaser held at the Capitol Theater, broadcast on 774 ABC Melbourne. It was also the first time in about 4 years that I forgot it was on. Did anyone here happen to go to it or listen to it on the wireless? And if so, who and or what was any good? Thanks.

Interviewer: Dave Grohl said that Songs for the Deaf is the best album he's ever played on. Wasn't that guy in Nirvana? Josh Homme: He says all the time, "I was in fuckin' Nirvana, man." And I tell him, "OK, buy me something."

I listened to it and taped most of it. It was 3hrs this year, the first hour being mainly theatresports (which I didn't really pay much attention to.) Tripod were also on they did a song at the start of the hour and 2 at the end. Of the other comedians on they were fairly average. Chris Addison and Greg Fleet were pretty good. I've got the list of names in front of me but am having trouble remembering their perfomances so I think I'll just list the comedians that were on a leave it at that. Chris Addison, Jodie J Hill, Rob Rouse, Anthony Menchetti, Dave Callan, Simon Munnery, Greg Fleet, Danny Bhoy, Charlie Pickering, Sue Ingleton, Eddie Perfect, Todd Barry, Damian Clark, Maria Bamford, Nelly Thomas

I'm undecided about spots - Geoff (Coupling) Who does surveys of 3 people, 3's not statistically significant - Cameron (Love Gud)

Thanks heaps for replying, Amanda. Yeah, every year it's round 'bouts 180 minutes, and always good to listen to. Hence my great irritation and disappointment with myself for missing it. Oh well.
