One newbie will be there at least. I'll be going up for the last week - or maybe a little longer, in Uni holidays. Does everybody get sick during MICF? I went last year for a week, and ate one meal in Melbourne (had just gotten tongue pierced and was easier to live off the nutrients in Boost Juice) and got sick. Bad timing too, if you get your tongue pierced it means no caffeine, no alcohol and NO KISSING for 3 weeks! I was far away from home, surrounded by yummy comedians and on my best behaviour... but not next year

we all get sick. i got sick this year and wasn't even there. lack of food, sunlight, sleep and a liver the size of texas all come into play

I did? When did I do that? Why would we be trawling for tickets when the water would make them useless?

I will be there, and *fingers crossed* will officially be doing a PhD so will have four extra years to procrastinate. If not doing PhD, will be panicking as the deadline will be measured in months instead of years.

I know it's in the wrong bit, but I got an idea for next year, Glynna. Let's go see GUD in Darwin!

yes, come to the Melbourne Aquarium and join me and Joe as we revisit the cod on his own in a big tank, the baby sharks who attack the patrons and the street crabs in their natural environment of the under water alley way. Then come with us on the kick ass spine breaker simulation ride! Anybody who came with us last year can confirm how much fun we have on there..and this year, Joe's going to ride it without his seat belt...WOOHOOOO ROCK n ROLL!!
