Son: Is there anything we can do to get Buffy back?
Mom: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Son: Uh huh. Is there anything useful we can do?
Mom: No.

I'm getting signs that Melbourne may be the go for me too - the most overt being the day I returned home, my landlord telling me he's sold my house, is breaking the lease, I have to be out in six weeks. I want to live in Melbooooouuuuurne!

Nope, the director for the show I was working in has 15+ ideas for shows he'd like to do next year since he got back.

if i didn't have half a degree left, i'd so be up for that. or i could just fuck off uni and move when my lease runs out. hmm *ponders* discovered that my previous dislike of melbourne was entirely relative to my health. i was not sick this fest, therefore i want to have kittens with melbourne.

*Sigh* nope, would be a luxury to live day to day. Damn being a student, have to plan everything in advance. Like the fact I have no holidays in 2006 due to beign required to work full time for no money while everyone else is partying. grrrrr!

I plan to be famous by 2007,

do it! then you'll be a whole country state closer to civilisation! me! and that'd be cool. and you could make bazillion of cheesecake for arty melbourne types instead of croaky tassie types and that would also be cool.

contender

n : the contestant you hope to defeat;

Shit, that means Chris Cook was a contender in the state final - because I wanted to beat him. Because if I was less funny than him, I was going to have to kill myself.

Tim Logan suggested I should do a show and call it "Hynotrousers and Dirty One-Liners".
